Day, evening and weekend classes offered. Must also serve as faculty advisors, serve on division/campus/college committees and participate in curriculum development.
Requirements: VA DVM license with 18+ graduate semester hours in veterinary medicine and 2 years clinical experience. (Will consider a Licensed Veterinary Technician with Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience, preferably with board certification in some specialty area); Commitment to teaching excellence; Ability to work with a highly diverse faculty, staff and student population and teach in an urban community college setting; Understanding of instructional technology and willingness to receive training in such tools as Blackboard learning management system; Prior teaching experience desired; Interest in nutrition, ultrasound experience, or background in large animal practice (especially in addition to horses) desired.
