  • Tech Talk

The technician seminar series resumes on Wednesday, March 31, at the Elks Lodge from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Johnny Hoskins, DVM, PhD, will present on "Geriatric Medicine."

Individual seminar attendance cost is $65 and is payable at the door. Those technicians registered for the entire series will receive meeting announcements by mail and have access to seminar handouts on the DC Academy website in the Technician section. Also, the DC Academy will archive continuing education credits for series-registered technicians as it does for DC Academy members.

    Seminar Notes on the Web!

Most presenters provide their handout material in a format that can be posted on our website. Now, technicians that have registered for the entire series, including full-time students enrolled at an accredited technician program, can have access to these seminar notes in advance of the seminar.

The Access Code Number will permit you to view and print the notes from the DC Academy Web Site. (If you do not know the access code, please email us at admin@dcavm.org for the password.) Click on the Technician Program. Once in the Technicians section, click on Notes and complete the form on this page.

    Seminar Handouts by Email

We have the capability to also send these notes to you by e-mail prior to the seminar. To better serve the technicians membership, we have established an e-mail group on Yahoo Groups in order to distribute lecture notes (in Word document attachments), administrative announcements, and other official news. This will be a read-only list, thus it will not clog your inbox with spam or chatter.

If you would like to join this group, please send an e-mail to
    DCAtechs-owner@yahoogroups.com

Please include your full name and access code.
