  • Tech Talk

    The technician seminar series continues on Wednesday, November 2, at the Elks Lodge from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Individual seminar attendance cost is $65 and is payable at the door. Those technicians registered for the entire series will receive meeting announcements by mail/email and have access to seminar handouts on the DC Academy website in the Technician section. Also, the DC Academy will archive continuing education credits for series-registered technicians as it does for DC Academy members.

    Sign-In Sheets

    We are changing the sign-in sheet process. There will be a morning sign-in sheet and an afternoon sign-in sheet. In order to receive the appropriate credits, you must initial both sign-in sheets. This is the same process that is followed for the veterinarian meetings. PLEASE REMEMBER TO INITIAL THE AFTERNOON SIGN-IN SHEET.

    Seminar Notes on the Web!

    Most presenters provide their handout material in a format that can be posted on our website. Technicians that have registered for the entire series, including full time students enrolled at an accredited technician program, have access to these seminar notes in advance of the seminar. Click on the Technician Program. Once in the Technicians section, click on the line that provides access to the notes and complete the form on this page.

    Please note that printed handouts at the meetings will be available to only those who have paid for a series registration or have paid for the single seminar. Students who attend on a complimentary basis must access and print the notes from the website or receive them via email. All attendees must provide their email addresses as we plan on distributing newsletters, ce statements and notes via email.
