FOR SALE - Grove Center Veterinary Hospital, Gaithersburg, Maryland
Our practice has been for sale for eight months without a firm offer. However, there has been a status change. When first posted, our lease was about to run out, requiring a new space. That was a significant problem. That problem has been resolved. A new 5 (or more) year lease at our current location is now available to us or to any purchaser.
We are a one doctor practice, although the workload can support more. In 2022, our gross was $747,438.95, with our net income (salary and profit) at $247,000. As for this year, while many practices have experienced a revenue decrease as the post COVID surge has worn off, we have not. We are averaging 25 new clients per month and our income this year, through July 31st, is actually up over last year. This is true even though we now do virtually no surgeries, except for the occasional spay or neuter. We do have a DR X-ray, Parkes Doppler BP, and assorted other equipment.
