The District of Columbia Academy of Veterinary Medicine was established in 1957 to provide high quality continuing education for the graduate veterinarian.
To that end, we engage in-demand speakers who are leaders in their field to lecture each month on diverse topics for our 700+ members. The DC Academy offers the latest veterinary knowledge in a friendly atmosphere where colleagues gather to share ideas. The monthly meetings are an excellent way to keep updated on the most current information regarding new medications, procedures, and testing methods.
